okay, so we have an old (home button) ipad that we use in the family.
i was curious what the latest tablets were like, and i was in an electronics shop anyway, so i went and checked them out, and holy shit, those bezels... they're way too thin to hold with one hand (thumb just goes over screen). and i feel like one advantage of a tablet over a laptop is how easy they are to use while lying in bed, one handed. i guess weight is still an advantage, but that's like the one thing left (also usually ARM efficiency, but that's not really a laptop vs. tablet thing).
