I think one feature that youtube does that is great compared to some other platforms is premieres. I am talking compared to streaming platforms like netflix, nebula etc. A premiere/live stream is like a fun social event imo and it's a cool way of watching things at the same time as others. Yea it is like television, but I think this is one fun aspect of television along with the periodic release model instead of the binge one.
