i made a simple script for uploading emojis from a specific folder to gotosocial (which might work with other fedi instances, if they support the api/v1/admin/custom_emoji POST endpoint - but i don't know which ones do, if any) u can pick an overall category for them, or 1-by-1 (without having to retype them - a list will be shown with numbers to pick) hopefully the code does consistently function, but it's by silly old meee, so... don't set ur expectations high lmao. 🥴 github.com/itsjustduc/gts-emoji-upload/

@polygon really feels like there should be a mastodon api script for pushing a folder of emojis. idk how hard it would be to create, but i could also use that sometimes.
