@Zyro1331 spotify tagging system is quite shit and i think they know about it, like, i have seen a bunch of cases where someone literally hijacks the artist page, like, come on
@Zyro1331 like, at one point i had a shitton of shitty remixes or whatever of Robert Miles' tracks, or at least stuff that included a bit of these tracks, that warranted adding him as a co-author, every week, and it was soooo shit
@Zyro1331 didn't have a problem, however my problem is quite similar, that is, random artists creating "covers" of tracks considered classic, from top artists of that time which i have in spotify follows, and suddenly that crap shows up in my playlists
like, i find the documentation by itself very lacking and quite confusing at places, so i usually just ask my friend who's been in this shit for past few years and just do Whatever he's doing and seems to work
i tried to figure out how the fuck do you get a proper ssl certificate on it, fortunately there's a support for dns challenges, however it's very lacking in documentation, the only "officially" supported options are cloudflare, route56 and ovh of all places, which is useless for me given i use hetzner for dns, so there's also a "shell" option which is supposed to be some sort of way to get a shell script to do the challenge. however, it's not like the scripts from the internet are any good, i found some go script with even worse documentation and links to a bunch of forum threads which i have no capacity to read, so i tried to like wing it and of course it did not work so i just didn't do that in the end lmfao
