mild rant who the fuck thought and invented "oh let's reward beings for talking more". like, if it's just actual levels and no rewards, it's still a "leaderboard". you're basically incentivizing beings to cheese the talking algorithms. it's a form of achievement in a game.
the lack of opt out function for most of these bots is frustrating af ngl.

mh/nd discussion @vv yeah i don't think it's trauma for me, but social interactions like that are very stressful in general (and always have been, even when we played such games in school as a 10yo)

@vv i wonder how common this is in nd circles. i've seen so many people play amogus, and seen many people like similar games irl (ones where you sit in a circle, bang!, etc.), but mostly before i knew i was nd, so...
