@hugh @mirabilos @russss @grizeldi @erincandescent I mean we sidestepped KHP (it was supposed to be PL cab signalling in the 80s/90s but didn't work out) because ETCS was already looming and instead we didn't get anything, even a stopgap, and so we are stuck with extremely safe SIFA + signal acknowledge with no way of detecting a SPAD other than by signaller stopping every train on the radio channel with one button, and are waiting for ETCS which was supposed to be fully rolled out by first plans but it's barely going
