@nanianmichaels mostly cost, size and weight constraints, 25 kV 50Hz is more suited for trains rather than trams which usually operate on 600/750V DC since that is cheaper and easier to operate on streets, and you don't need speeds that are possible with 25kV 50Hz either
do you get this a game where all you do is try to hit two dimensional circles that go in one line, in good rhythm, with no 3D in sight has worse performance than a game with a whole screen full of 2d things you have to hit in rhythm, and a shitton of 3d stuff happening in background that very much is not a video
