project diva mega mix, a game that is more graphically intensive than fucking taiko no tatsujin rhythm festival, has easier time reaching stable framerate. a fucking 3d game. has better framerate than a 2d game.
do you get this a game where all you do is try to hit two dimensional circles that go in one line, in good rhythm, with no 3D in sight has worse performance than a game with a whole screen full of 2d things you have to hit in rhythm, and a shitton of 3d stuff happening in background that very much is not a video
@jeder i remember how osu (eww.) used to work on a core solo u1400 netbook. i was interested partially because it had a resistive touchscreen, so i could actually play it properly. for more complex maps you needed to disable the background video, but everything else was fine. it was running through wine btw
now, the latest osu!lazer release has trouble running on my main laptop, which is literally 40x faster
