@NeonPurpleStar yeah, if not for the sole existence of NATO, we would probably be long gone already, if not in the near future and what's important/interesting to note is that in case of Poland (and possibly other countries) the same people that were USSR puppets are mostly responsible for joining to NATO and the EU
