yeah so the traffic was likely because of a car crash... this is a huge issue with cars imo - there's many on the road, so a much higher chance of at least 1 person messing up, holding up every single vehicle behind, including buses - buses are also driven by people who have this as their job, leading to them being a lot more experienced on average.
this is a bit of an impulsive take, but eh, i don't think this info is wrong, so basically cars cause travel times to be a lot more unpredictable
