It kind of sucks that Linus from LTT is... Well, a CEO. He doesn't publicly post salaries (or allow his workers to discuss them), is staunchly anti-union (for his workers), and the fact his corporation (ie Linus Media Group) is structured... Seemingly more like a fiefdom than an organisation.

The real problem is that Linus likes to have a personable and friendly persona on the camera when he is also, well, a CEO and is doing Small Business CEO things when he has 80+ employees.

Is the first one even legal for a corporation to do in Canada? Even the US protects your right to discuss salary and enforces it lmao

@yassie_j they also don't always have the best reviews imo, but that's a different problem

@duc for sure! I especially dislike how some videos are framed. Like one video was like "China doesn't want us to have this GPU!", when er, in reality, it was just one Chinese company, and not, like the Cyberspace Administration of China coming for him or something.

I think, as a media personality (separate to whether his reviews are good or not) Linus is pretty good, but as a CEO, I really do not trust him or the way he seems to organise his corporation.

He doesn't even have a HR team, which is really scarry for a company that has 80+ employees. It's a surprise that there hasn't been some sexual harassment scandal yet.
