(doing it more often doesn't make sense, except if you change your backing configuration. However, like "one year" is certainly a duration where some less densely used blocks will have appeared that are full of random crap)

@jeder well, btrfs also has defragmentation as a separate thing. I avoid doing it, however, because it means re-duplicating deduplicated data...

@jeder yesterday, I did defragment the entire filesystem on kalos though, because apparently postgres was heavily fragmented...
