@jeder it should not, pretty much everything now reports x86_64 even if it's like, an M1 Macbook. similarly any Linux reports X11 (you're running on Wayland!) and any Android reports Android 9. we simply still haven't learned from "Mozilla/5.0"

though yes, the Android user-agent sucks in a way, everything wants me to download an app. but it also scales to the screen, and idk how would it be the other way.

@jeder I remember having anger issues because of similar issues on desktop lmao

btw by default you're running firefox-esr and not firefox, the second one also has a lot of bugs, just different ones

@jeder well I have:
a working Huawei P8 lite (running LineageOS 14.1)
a Huawei P20 lite (locked bootloader but unlocking shouldn’t be too hard)
a Huawei Mate 20 (bootloader not unlockable from what I know so far)
a Pixel 4 XL (currently my daily driver so it won’t happen)
a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (tablet) (running LineageOS 14.1)

and all of them are either still in the testing repo (with a lot of things broken), don’t boot with postmarketOS or entries for them just don’t exist :/

@jeder (sorry for kinda ranting about it here but) just 7 words on the Installation part and otherwise not much info is great! :3 wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Huawei_P8_Lite_(huawei-alice)

(and yes that’s the device where most of it works from what I’ve read and understood)

@jeder sorry for being so surprised but up until now, all I did was install custom firmwares through TWRP (and installing TWRP with adb fastboot stuff)
