Maybe "good morning" posts shouldn't be posts but rather messages in some chat you have with your friends
That is to say, I believe Fedi (and other microblogging platforms) should really be treated as secondary to services focused on more personal(?) communication
With that in mind, Fedi becomes a way 1) to discover new people and then invite them/get invited to spaces outside of Fedi, and 2) to share stuff you want to be seen by more than just your circle(s)
What do you think on all that
