The more Star Wars I watch, the less I think Vader was a good guy in any way, shape or form

Yeah he killed Palpatine and apologized in the end, but that doesn't undo all the murders, countless atrocities and the fascist regime he was crucial in holding up

He was a fascist from his appearance in episode 2 all the way to his death. He only had compassion for his family. All the good he ever did was kill other bad people

@schratze Only crazy people (who claim there are more than 3 movies) say Vader's good. He's just not as bad as Grand Moff Tarkin or Emperor Palpatine. He's much more professional and competent than the idiots around him, is all.

Need some princess tortured? Need a Death Star built? Find senior Rebel leaders on Cloud City? He's your guy.

Luke's sympathetic to his father because he's like 40% dark side at the end, too.
