Yaslore: when I was little, I couldn’t say “daddy” so instead called my father “Dabby”. That has been his name for ages now. In that vein, this has been extrapolated so my mom is “Mabby” and I am “Yabby”.
The best part is that my parents will call each other Dabby and Mabby. My mom will say “Dabby, make sure to get the shopping”, for example.
