@yassie_j @jeder eh, I can see the point but I can't say it's ever been a problem for me. If the crux of the argument is that it's worse then one side's lights are broken, then I can just say "keep them repaired". Having two colors on each side also requires them to be repaired, because a busted orange turn signal does nothing.

@smitten @yassie_j the point is that both are using the same light, and thats dangerous because you have no idea if the car before you is turning or braking without actually thinking about it

@jeder @yassie_j I do though because I see both sides light up when they're braking. many cars also now have an animated blinker that's not just flashing but moving side to side.

@jeder @yassie_j plus like, you should brake if someone is turning. it's ok to interpret any red light to mean 'slow down' until your brain has time to fully process the blink.
