Can anyone explain to me why mastodon strips formatting and diacritics off hashtags? The loss of casing makes it a whole lot harder to understand at a glance what something is about (ex. # addbacontomakeitbetter is hard to parse for me, and # kevinmitnick is interpreted by me as the german phrase "Kevin mit Nick" rather than the name "Kevin Mitnick"), and the loss of diacritics means that non-english hashtags can change meaning or become meaningless entirely! I always have to think a couple times before realizing that the trending "# lowin" is actually the german word "Löwin" and not some weird english name. Why does this happen? It seems like a serious accessibility and i18n flaw to me
