Deutsche Bahn our reserved seats are supposedly in wagon 5, seats 61-62

wagon 5 only has seat numbers between 71 and 112 though

woohoo, I guess wagon 4 it is...

Deutsche Bahn @follpvosten the seat numbers are like that because its the door closest to these seats, so if you went to the second door, you would have something like 11-68 on there, it's just so people do not make a mess inside but like, sometimes it doesn't happen so

Deutsche Bahn @jeder yeah I think it's the same here - honestly this was like the second time I ever made a reservation, so it was also the first time I ever even attempted to look at the numbers haha

Deutsche Bahn @follpvosten here intercity trains usually come with reservation so you pretty quickly figure out where to enter (even if people still get tickets for seats 12-13 and end up in completely different rows in compartment-less wagons lmao)

Deutsche Bahn @follpvosten in theory reservation is not needed, however you still get one for free with your ticket, and the tickets with no reservations are sold close to the departure, :woozy_box:

Deutsche Bahn @jeder ah alright, yeah both ÖBB and DB charge extra for seat reservations in RJ/IC/EC/ICE so I rarely actually make one lol (they're like 3,4€ at ÖBB and 4,9€ at DB)

the only thing I ever booked with reservation included was a night train
