@mia eh, I have something more peculiar than that, my phone does photos in 1x zoom instantly, and on 2x zoom, it takes like 10 seconds to take the photo and be saved AND you cannot leave the app before it's saved because then the photo is lost

@mia I've just checked this between stock and open camera and.. bruh
stock camera photo of a tv antenna socket thing, it's very oil panting looking, with no noise and shit
open camera photo of the same socket, it's very noisy

@jeder there are usually several camera APIs on android; some of them let you disable most of the filters and get somewhat grainy but actually decent photos

freedcam is one of the apps that expose most of the settings
