Anyone running on a Mastodon server with AUTHORIZED_FETCH turned on [or your software's equivalent], who has never interacted with my Bookwyrm instance before:
Can you please test a bug fix for me, and see if you can follow my user there at outside.ofa.dog/user/futzle ? Refresh your browser and make sure that the follow doesn't degrade to a follow request. If it does degrade, wait a few minutes and refresh your browser again. Now is it following?
Once you've successfully followed, you can unfollow again right away, the test is complete.
The bug report is here for the curious: github.com/bookwyrm-social/bookwyrm/issues/2844 I've applied the fix recommended by @hugh and I need to test it from an instance that has never interacted with Outside of a Dog.
