Using a VPN is nice until every cloudflare site ever (which is unfortunately a lot of them) makes you do 500 captchas or just outright blocks you

@nyarlathotep and that's why I just use vpns whenever i need to, it's just a waste of time and major inconvenience most of the time

@jeder Pretty much same here, I only use them when I’m on public wifi (mostly at work like rn) or torrenting but it’s still obnoxious as fuck

I wish every mainstream web company wasn’t trying to actively undermine any security efforts ever (ad blocking, VPN usage, etc)

@nyarlathotep i don't even use vpn for torrenting because it seems like literally no one cares lmao
for adblocks on mobile i just use personaldnsfilter and it is comf

@jeder That is true, I’ve torrented a bunch of stuff without VPN and never gotten a notice, though it’s all been anime and JP stuff so it’s probs not relevant to companies filing complaints here lol. It seems like most problems with torrents come with western content like movies and shite which I never download anyway

@jeder @nyarlathotep I've noticed that since switching to business internet, every damn website with Cloudflare makes me do captchas now too. I wonder if they think it's some kind of VPN too
