@jeder I just watched this video and I'd like to comment on this point in particular.
Yes we do have remote places that are very well connected with public transport which buses every 12 minutes.
But in my opinion these places only still exist because they are remnant of a better time. I feel that public transport in the Netherlands used to be a lot better when the public transport was still nationalized. Nowadays these bus connections that these small towns rely are disappearing left and right because the transport companies want to get rid of them because they usually operate at a loss.
If these remote connection still exist it is because the inhabitants of these places have fought for them to keep existing year after year.
@SuperDicq this village isn't even that remote, it is 4km down from a 30k city and someone in the comments pointed out that it has 12 minutes interval only because it's so early the lines haven't splitted yet
