though I do commend this, better to be overly ambitious and just miss the timelines than just be stuck in the coal limbo forever

its good that they are putting some pressure on themselves

plpol, eupol @endali @jeder tbh i think that they're putting this over-ambitious deadline on themselves so they can then turn around and say "well, we tried"

feasibility wasnt a thing to start with, they just wanted to make promises and be in the clear with those (EU) who cared about this stuff

and ofc to have bragging rights to push this same deadline on others, "hey we have a deadline for 2030, why dont you too?", to just... yeah
