takes over unprofitable night train routes, makes them profitable
i wish it was always true, they cancel berlin-wrocław-vienna nightjet because apparently it wasn't that profitable and they are replacing it with berlin-dresden-vienna nightjet (apparently because DB wanted that or whatever), though apparently they will provide all (3) coaches for a wrocław-vienna day train
@antonia@lis how exactly? dresden has way better connections to vienna over western poland, i don't care about some "traditions" that are 100 y/o leftovers
@antonia@lis but then, it's just 3 ÖBB coaches because PKP as always doesn't have any suitable coaches since all of them went to Warsaw-Vienna/-Berlin trains
@antonia@lis (not to mention the completely backwards ticket sales system of pkp intercity where you can't really get international tickets online anyway)
