@jeder I guess it is a bit safer than SMS. and that's the only benefit :)

@alex i had multiple cases of scam messages over RCS in last few weeks and none on SMS, can't really call that safer

@jeder safety is not in scam, but in fact that transfer SMS encryption can be picked up by potato computers.

For the scam, anything that improves communication accessibility, makes scam easier, so yeah, that sucks :'(

you don't even know how much time i have wasted because of google sms app deciding to send something as RCS message, causing it to be stuck in sending loop and getting received HOURS LATER because receiver wasn't online all that time, and that message was rather important, i absolutely loathe RCS and this bullshit app

sure, they can just not read the sms message, but at least it will be received in less than 5 minutes which is not usually the case with rcs if they aren't connected
