@duc It's so much less readable now, maps don't work with minimal color schemes. Their attempt at decluttering without removing the actual clutter, ads, makes them stand out even more (tho that might be the reason they went for this design)
@duc If enough of the small shitty things add up, there will be more of a reason to switch away from shitty map app, lots of people leaving Windows complain about the bad UX compared to MacOS or [Linux distro of choice] but rarely point to a single thing
@duc Pretty sure most people use it because it's bundled and heavily integrated into their device, I heard there's some union in europe working on that though
@duc If it won't be The Default and its UX is going to continue to worsen I see there being a reasonable amount of users on alternatives, especially in places with established alternatives like Mapy.cz within Czechia
