small rant about modern train platform heights in eu we could have standardized platform heights on like 1 meter or something like that, just so train floor is flat on whole length, and so, way more comfortable, and with better looking trains (does anyone really prefer the look of windows alternating between 55/76cm floor height and 90cm?), with 76cm for exceptions, but nooooo, 76cm as default, with 55cm for not so rare exceptions, and every modern train looks Weird from side

anyways yeah 1-1.2m platforms everyhwere because fuck stairs

small rant about modern train platform heights in eu @instereo256 550 is the standard in czechia maybe i think? and on some older modernisations in poland from what i've seen, otherwise they all just do 760
