@mia oh huh migrated to iceshrimp recently?

I have a weird urge to migrate misskey fork again and I do quite like some stuff about iceshrimp (but also on the other hand I like fun new features too,,,)

@cheri @mia come here we have fast(er) backend and a working masto api, and have incoming rewrites of backend (possibly in c# because it good now apparently) and frontend (but it will match current fe in look and feel as much as possible, just without the jank)

@cheri @mia like, if c# doesn't happen because of hard shit, then ts rewrite/refactor will happen since hard stuff (activitypub) is already there

@jeder @cheri i mean, activitypub the protocol is actually fairly simple once you do enough research and practical experimentation. it just takes a while to do that

@jeder @cheri like, learning that the specification actively lies to you in the context of modern activitypub. learning to never trust anything but your own two eyes

@jeder @cheri really, implementing activitypub is less about writing the code and more about giving up your own humanity. it is a process of rugged rediscovery of self. it is the dimming of the light, it is the antipattern
