@igwigg i'd probably be good with 4 but track 2 and 5 are freight so yeah, that freight train on track 3 is just a mistake here lol

@igwigg the reason why such layout is used:
train station with 8 tracks, 2 tracks at the right are used for unloading freight, innermost and outermost pairs of 6 other tracks are used for passenger traffic, and the middle pair is for through freight traffic, there's a level crossing spanning all 8 tracks because why not
