@duc I'm not actually using daws very much as my tracker does a great job of mixing all by itself (at least, my mixing skills aren't really good enough for a daw to exceed that, i know there's a lot that could be done to better mix my music). I'm also in the midst of setting up my music studio so i haven't completely gotten settled.
but my current daw of choice when I'm actually using it is Bitwig, because of its native Linux and pipewire support. A second choice is Ableton since that's just what I've used for a long while. I might have gotten into FL Studio, except i just never gave it a try.
@vv ah i see! cause i mainly have been recording acoustic + vocals, and i've used reaper, which makes recording (and honestly most things) straightforward. but i might want to try expanding with other instruments in the future, and it's not been easy trying to get soundfonts and such working with it. :/
@duc i really love bitwig though. It does so much stuff right in terms of configuration, and it's quite intuitive, with only a few minor confusion points (but all daws i know have those). by far the best daw experience I've had, and the cheapest of the ones I've bought.
