@ar i just had to reinstall kernel because it was gone for some reason
gotta love arch (i swear I'll install nix at this point, but I have no idea how to to do custom edid [discourse.nixos.org/t/copying-custom-edid/31593 i do not understand these people]) which is pretty much the only thing stopping me from doing that)
