Fun fact: I was just wondering why my profile picture kept disappearing and then discovered that apparently whoever designed the helm charts for firefish/iceshrimp forgot the teensy tiny detail that one might want to keep data between container restarts. Yeeesh.

So I think I'm going to fix this during the course of this weekend, but until then, I guess all of this might disappear whenever my Pod decides to die. Reality is so fragile...

@me yeah that's firefish, we haven't touched these files because we don't have a single clue about helm or kubernetes

@jeder @me honestly if there's no one to maintain it, it should probably just be deleted
better safe than keep something potentially broken in the repo for someone to run into problems with ​:woozy:​

@jeder @novenary I heard about the rewrite but how far along are you? Like are we talking weeks, months or years until this thing sees the light of day?

@me @novenary from what i understand, first alpha (pre-alpha?) builds should be in april, which will obviously not be close to feature-parity with current js codebase, though i've seen that zotan found another backend dev so it might get more steam even if it already has a lot
