I can't believe they made Ren into a hardcore gaming addict in S2... she has undergone a transformation since S1 (she is probably my favourite of the "serious" LL girls tho)

@nyarlathotep imo that whole "seriousness" is just her coping in a way

@jeder Yeah, she def mellows out a lot after joining Liella and becoming successful with them, it's just funny to see her go from being incredibly antagonistic and serious in S1 to being just the funny tech-illiterate rich girl in S2

re: spoiler stuff

@jeder I feel like LL has always failed to do impactful character drama, they occasionally succeed in one way (I think Ren was a good "villain" for Liella), but stuff like motivations and consequences are usually poor or non-existent lol

LL universe is really the ideal universe where nothing bad truly happens

re: spoiler stuff

@jeder I JUST finished the last ep and wow :apensive:

The way it ended annoys me, I feel like they did this a lot with Sunshine S2 as well where they would drag on one problem for an entire episode or two, and then when it seemed like there was a resolution they would just yeet the problem away like it was nothing and it would be essentially just a waste of time ughhhhh

(Though otherwise I do think Superstar is one of the stronger LL animes)
