the patch cannot be upstreamed due to some stuff with the c# rewrite. it's meant to continue the database schema from where current-iceshrimp ends, and updating to include the database changes from bite activities would be work that i don't want to make upstream deal with
this cannot be directly applied to sharkey, as it is based on misskey 14+. firefish was based on misskey 13, and iceshrimp on firefish. misskey, between versions 13 and 14, made significant internal changes, and bite activity support makes significant internal changes. someone with experience with misskey 14+ can port it though
there is a spec for the bite activity that can be found at the IRI: ns.mia.jetzt/as#Bite . hopefully other software can use that spec to help in bringing the bite activity to more of the fediverse
