when you figure out that using daisychained displayport displays would be nice but then you remind yourself that you can't really use displayport because laptops still come with fucking hdmi only

@jeder also some laptops do displayport multi stream and some do thunderbolt multi stream instead and which is inconsistent

@novenary I'd rather deal with dp over hdmi, reminder that I have a display that can do ypbpr and rgb, and amdgpu prefers fucking ypbpr over rgb on hdmi and you need to do edid hacks to get rgb

@jeder mine has both! but sadly it's mini-DP (although i guess i do have DP alt mode on the thunderbolt port too)

@jeder yeah, although they're a bit hard to find, at least around here
the local computer shop did have a mini-DP to DVI cable which is what I use for my left monitor
