that bottom one is "half" margin and yet its as long as the top but you need to cut it afterwards still

@jeder on at least some of them you can change that in the settings. On mine, the setting is called "kettendruck" (chain print in english?)

@jeder iirc it's a side effect of how it does the whole thing with laminating the text print with plastic (see this for a teardown youtu.be/W2SRePOg4VM )

the printers that don't laminate it don't waste tape but the labels are less durable
