actually, how easy/hard is it to repurpose a scanner from an officejet or some shit like that, to work as a standalone one

@jeder probably difficult, would expect the maiboard to enter some failure state if the other components aren't connected

yes I know that I can just use it like that, but maybe I don't want to have all that printer shit alongside it because I have a more user-friendly printer, that has a shit scanner, and this hp printer has a decent scanner
