it keeps getting better- (I just checked Google Maps and holy fuck-)
so we already had this on the list:
bad public transport when it comes to regional buses (they take convoluted alternative routes that take much longer than a tram or city bus would - if they even would run on time, that is)
traveling along stroads with said regional bus (of course with up to 10 minutes of delay sometimes) (cough Kesselsdorfer Straße cough)
walking through a parking lot to get to a store (I’m not kidding this actually was my pathway to the hardware store - and of course I had to cross tram tracks to get there)
now we’ll add more!
fucking Bundesstraßen (the wonderful (/s) abomination between a stroad and a highway) going right through the city center
not that great of a public transport when it comes to the “S-Bahn” network (I mean, would you call regional train rolling stock from the 2000’s pulled/pushed by a series 143 loco an S-Bahn? or would you call a Siemens Desiro Classic an S-Bahn? I mean, they also have TALENT 2 sometimes but they’re literally borrowed from the Saxonia-Express sometimes- also it barely transports like 10% of the people living in Dresden lmfao)
horrible infrastructure for people wanting to take a bike (I can prove this from my own experience)
at least the trams are decent (if it weren’t for the 5+ minute delays that I get to experience very often lately)?
