subpost, USB USB-C > USB-B > mini-B > shit > micro-B

i have worn down so many microUSB ports. mini-B’s are usually lower quality but i still have better luck with them ,_,

re: subpost, USB @domi I hated micro-B so much, got worn down so quickly and the little pins in the cable broke so often too
USB C at first also seemed to wear down quick, but one in my current phone is holding up, maybe needs cleaning if anything

re: subpost, USB @RafiX ikr? i’ve been using USB-C since 2018 and I don’t think I ever saw any ports outright break. with microUSB they’d work for maybe a year, afterwards you just have to plug & pray

re: subpost, USB @domi just how many times my phone wasn't charged because cable moved slightly and it disconnected

usb c port on my first phone with it was a bit loose, but after cleaning it was okay to use still, unlike any microUSB after a while

re: subpost, USB @RafiX @domi i never had any problems with micro-b ports themselves, however, i went through one cable every two months, and since i use usb-c since 2017/18, i still have working usb-c cables from that time though they are in rough shape
