@jeder what I dislike about zulip (or rocket chat) is that I need another account/client to connect with that.

IRC has solved that in so far as its the norm that you are able to connect to multiple servers.

@4censord well yes you need another account but imo advantages outweigh that heavily, since unlike matrix this is a proper tool for any kind of collaboration or helping people, and you can even make some stuff publicly readable

@jeder but i already have so many open tabs, clients, and apps. I lose track of the what and where with so many.

That might be a personal thing though. I vastly prefer being able to just join the matrix space and have everything nice and ordered in my client.

@4censord i am tired of jankiness of matrix and how you can have 5 different discussions in the same room happening at the same time without the possibility to just move all of it to a different room (the kneejerk reaction of asking people to move doesn't count)

@jeder oh, in all rooms i've been in people just used threads for that. (sometimes, after being reminded that they exist, but still)
