Two things I miss the most on Linux:
Usable video player (like MPC-HC on Windows; VLC is miles behind in terms of usability).
Classic file manager (like FAR Manager; Midnight Commander sucks so much that it's not really an alternative, it's just a not very sparkling UI not very accurately slapped on top of the shell).
Any advices?

I also missed music player before (foobar2k; but now I know about deadbeef on Linux).
And I'll need to set up a gallery and onedrive integration some day...

@IngaLovinde i feel like various cloud integrations are uselessly complicated on linux? like, none of them really do what onedrive on windows could

@jeder none of them provide you with virtual FS backed by local cache? That's a pity...

@IngaLovinde yeah most of them just download everything and sync, old style, and with rclone you can do virtual FS but i am not so sure about local cache

@jeder "just download everything and sync" must be funny when you have a terabyte of shit in onedrive and 256gb SSD in laptop...
Also I guess better not to risk trying renaming or moving downloaded stuff and hope that it will detect (as it does on windows) that it's a move and not removal + addition...
