as soon as I blocked it suddenly my instance started successfully handling inbound federation again, before the queue was hopelessly blocked D:

seriously can't tell if malicious or just broken, but it was flooding the instance with posts that weren't even being retained nor showed up in the federated timeline, and in federation stats it shows no accounts and nobody following, wtf
