lower silesia is very much disconnected from the rest of Poland and (kind of unreasonably) well connected to the rest of Germany (albeit with no frequent trains because obviously warsaw has to have every international train possible)
@jeder hmm are there any trains going from lower silesia to germany that aren’t local, and that don’t go through the greater poland? that one TLK to zgorzelec doesn’t count

tbh i wish for faster trains between wrocław and zgorzelec / wrocław and dresden. it’ll never happen but it would make connecting from PL to Leipzig or lower parts of germany like Leipzig and München much faster
@domi there's already a bunch of KD Sprinters that skip a lot of stations between Wrocław and Legnica, and also skip a bunch between Legnica and Zgorzelec, DB has™ to electrify one platform track at Görlitz with 3kV DC so like, yeah, we might have more trains into Görlitz in next few years
