Despite somewhat similar appearance, they are not on the same platform, instead, Regio140/160 is respectively a Link/Elf II successor, that is also supposed to be a "unified" platform for everything, while Elf.eu is a 3kV DC+25kV 50Hz AC thing that is somewhere between Elf II and Regio160, for which they won a contract for some huge amount of Elf.eu's in Romania lately. So much for unified platform, lmao
And in true PESA fashion, 847's are delayed.
