@jeder 1: it's ugly 2: even though it would theoretically work on sway, most features aren't intended for that 3: i don't want arbitrary remote code execution on either devices
@alina for me extension support on android just boils down to having an adblock and dns-based adblocks(even local ones like personaldnsfilter) just work fine i don't really have to time to fight with firefox and a dozen of desktop ui'd extensions that don't feel right on mobile
@alina is it clunky? yes does it save me pain of having to use mobile firefox? yes like, desktop firefox is bearable but only barely enough for me to use it as my main browser mobile firefox is just Pain
@jeder how do you handle ads that are hosted on the same site as the one you're visiting? not everything is cross-referenced
also a huge improvement of my mobile browsing experience is the GDPR consent-o-matic extension for automatic denial of cookies and just as a "make the cookie banner go away"-machine
and i won't ever use a browser that doesn't support having your search bar at the bottom on mobile, clicking at the top of my pixel 6a just to search feels way to uncomfortable
@jeder it works seamlessly, is end to end encrypted and doesn't collect any further data than my tabs which i like because i wanna keep the scope down, except for notifications which i relay via unifiedpush/ntfy
