@weeble I rarely use opening gambit or last ditch effort because my survival isn’t very stable nor can I really hold much ground myself 👉👈 I’d rather switch the LDE to walking speed and put stealth jump on my shoes
@Nightingalle LDE is strong in turf war because the last 30 secs are what matter and you won't have to refill as much.
Also did shp tell u about stealth jump? Ugh stealth isnt even that good outside of a competitive setting! You're a splatling you should be at a far range! Even if edit has a fast charge most stuff could kill you if you jump recklessly!
You need to stay alive the longest for sodas and hold space with ur range.
I don't mind taking away LDE but stealth jump ain't gonna add anything
@weeble yeah but edit has very short range and I don’t meant to push anyone in the face, I do just flank sometimes from a safe distance when teammates are in heated battle, just from a different angle. And I move a lot and also push if there’s a lot of ink around so I need speed
@Nightingalle@weeble yeah the way you play makes sense for it, not hardcore sploosh/roller flanking but quick repositioning to flank opponents, run speed so good
@shpuld@Nightingalle That just sounds like standard repositioning. When I say flank I mean specifically mean sharking behind an enemy that's distracted or sneaking up to enemy territory and come at them while they're pushing ur team.
Sitting on a stack in Mako mart and shooting at the splattershot that's fighting ur teammate in mid is just typical affair.
Like edit doesn't have short range at all it's a solid midline with a fast fire rate to keep space. And based on our weapon pool you're gonna be the longest range on our team.
I'm not saying this to disagree with ur gear choice, mobility is the edit's best feature and playing into that is good, I just don't want you to over extend.
Based on our pool you're mostly gonna be anchor/support. Limiting enemy options, using vantage points, Contest spaces with ur range so there's less pressure on ur team when they push and getting chip damage to annoy enemies away or combo with the frontlines.
@weeble@shpuld still, was there anything I said that was wrong or contradicting our plan? When I said flank it was position-wise I never meant to push into people’s face I’m not a sploosh.
I don’t know what we are contradicting for here honestly, and I don’t know how good our pool will be anyways, so I wouldn’t go ahead assuming who’s gonna under/over extend
To me it feels like edit lacks range against a lot other mid-long range weapon so it really is just how I feel from my own play, and I’ve been playing edit a lot
Edit doesn't lack range. It's just in this weird spot where it doesn't have enough range to be as threatening as a true backline, and there are more meta mid-line options that ppl are used to fighting.

@Nightingalle@shpuld Honestly I talked with Shp and while LDE is nice you shouldnt really struggle with ink and the extra space would be better for movement or farming special.
Y'all have more chunks to spare so you don't have to but I wanna prioritize all the chunks for special farming on the tee specifically so we can also use an aerospray comp for fun.
I think a grey zap + 3 aerosprays would be a fun cheesy comp if we just go in suicidal with cooler and play the rattiest way possible.
We got like 2 months. And I'm mostly free just tell me ur times since I gotta work around y'all.
