@alexander @halva (this, in general, is the case for a lot of things in the netherlands, is dutch trans healthcare particularly awful? not really it's just way more mediocre than it should be, same goes for urban planning and to a lesser degree (as it is rapidly getting worse) the government)

a lot of things are way more shit than they should be, but a lot of the excuses against improving are the most weak-shit "well at least it's not as bad as [place]", which is the stupidest argument ever

things should not need to be better somewhere else for us to want to do better

@catgirlQueer @halva truth be told its just sucky to hear complaints all around as someone who's looking forward to move there from a place that's... let's say, BAD.

it gives off the vibe of "STOP HAVING FUN" because i see dutch people do that all the time to me whenever i mention that i want to flee there one day. it just. sucks

this is not to say these complaints aren't valid but to me it's just pure salty behavior and being mad that someone is happy to move to a place you deem mediocre, you know?

i say let people have fun and don't kill their joy with endless complaints about things, even if these are completely valid queries that should be made
