i dont know why my ass decided to make the whole roblox phone, my brain is getting fried just making the messages app 😭
like, i'm getting it working and stuff yeah, but DAMN there's just so much that goes into it... having a working backend for it, having a good UI for it, having basic privacy features like blocking, hiding read receipts until you reply once, etc etc... GOSH...

literally i have all of this working but i'm the only one in the world at the moment who can even use this system 😭
"Personal preferences" page of the messaging app. There's a toggle to allow message requests, a button to block somebody via username or ID, and a list of blocked players. No players are blocked, so a faint message reads: "Nobody's blocked! Yay, friends!"
Popup titled "Block @Latex_Furry" Are you sure you'd like to block this player? Any existing conversations won't be deleted, but neither party will be able to continue them. The options are "Cancel" (secondary) or "Block" (primary)
Tiger Shark (@Latex_Furry) is now in the blocked players section.
