update: the seller is trying to buy shipping through eBay, but that gives them an error. Hopefully that gets fixed soon, they've opened a ticket with support...

Oh, right, and I just realized I might have to replace the keyboard!

The laptop comes with a US keyboard, but I've only ever used the Italian keyboard layout. Now, the lack of accented characters and other diacritics probably won't matter too much, as I'm going to use this for uni and all my courses will be in English.

Still, I'm not sure if I'll ever get used to switching between the two keyboard layouts. We'll see.

@limes so like, how different is it? in poland we don't have our own national layout and just use US QWERTY with altgr on Z, X, C, N, A, S, E, O and L
and we don't get any diacritic markings either

Here's a comparison between the us layout and the Italian layout (see Italian 141, iirc 142 was a later revision that never found its footing)
https://www.farah.cl/Keyboardery/A-Visual-Comparison-of-Different-National-Layouts/#it

it straight up has two more keys in total

@limes yeah we just use this www.farah.cl/Keyboardery/A-Visual-Comparison-of-Different-National-Layouts/#popr
although above it is the actual "national" layout which no one uses and i have seen only one keyboard using that godforsaken layout and it was actually very annoying to use

@jeder It's cool that every keyboard layout has a less-known sibling that almost nobody uses
